Störtebeker

The East Frisian peninsula of Emden was the scene of feuds between chieftain dynasties for supremacy in the 14th and 15th centuries. After the end of the Upstal Boom League of the Frisian Seelande, they had gained more and more importance. In power struggles they allied themselves with pirates, such as the legendary Klaus Störtebeker, who were offered safe havens as a prize for their help. The Café Störtebeker in Emden is named after the pirate Klaus Störtebeker. In the Störtebeker café all kinds of delicacies are offered, which can be enjoyed in an unforgettable atmosphere.

Within the scope of the cooperation I was allowed to conceptualize, design and program the website. The focus was to reproduce the ambience of Störtebeker in the best possible way. The website has its own reservation system and a digital menu.
